President Joseph A Tilli MAHSCAJoseph's role as President WA Chapter representative on the AHSCA – National Technical Committee (NTC).
Joseph is a Director of Hydraulics Design Australia and has over twenty-five years’ experience in the field of Hydraulic Services and Fire Services Design
First Vice President Anthony Serek LMAHSCATony was a founding member of the WA chapter for a period of 6 years served as the First Vice President till 2001. In 2001, Tony was elected as the second Director for AHSCA - National and was elected as the second Joint Chapter President for the WA Chapter in 2006. In 2017 Tony was elected as First Vice President and in this role Tony assists the Executive committee in the general day to running of the WA Chapter.
Tony has over 20 years' experience in the field of Hydraulic Services and Fire Service design and is the Senior Hydraulic Services Engineer at PJ Wright and Associates Pty Ltd
Second Vice President Ben Keane MAHSCABen's role as 2nd Vice-President is to liaise with regulatory authorities to keep the members informed of impending and proposed changes to codes, regulations, standards and all other technical issues.
Ben has more than 15 years' experience in the Hydraulic Services and Fire Services design field and is currently a Director of Construction Hydraulic Design Pty Ltd.
Third Vice President Andrew Cresswell LMAHSCAAndrew was a founding member of the AHSCA WA Chapter and he has served in the role as 3rd Vice-President since formation of the Chapter in 1996. His role in the Association is to manage membership of the Chapter. Andrew was also instrumental in the formation of the AHSCA Engineering Scholarship which commenced in 2012. On behalf of the Chapter he also liaises with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) to forge greater professional links and to promote cross pollination with CIBSE and the Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE). In 2015 Andrew was awarded Life Membership of the AHSCA WA Chapter.
Andrew is Director and Principal of Dalton Rodan & Associates and has over thirty years’ consulting experience in the field of Hydraulic Services Design
Secretary Salvatore Pullella MAHSCASalvatore has more than 17 years' experience in the plumbing construction industry and has spent the past 13 years in the Hydraulic Services and Fire Servicers design field and is currently an Associate of Hydraulics Design Australia.
Salvatore's role as Secretary of the AHSCA WA Chapter is to ensure the accurate recording of minutes, keeping and maintaining registers, roles and all correspondence relating to the Chapter.
Treasurer Mike Wynne MAHSCAMike has 48 years' experience in plumbing and owned and operated a successful plumbing and civil contracting business in Perth from 1973 to 2006. In 1982 he qualified as a hydraulic consultant and has since undertaken many projects in WA. Mike’s practical experience and installation know how aids his design approach. Mike was President of the Master Plumbers Association of WA in 1984 and 1985. Mike was appointed to the Plumber's Licensing Board of WA from 1984 to 1994 until he resigned. He has now been reappointed to the Plumber's Licensing Board as the AHSCAWA representative for a period of 4 years which expires in February 2018. Mike is also a member of the Institute of Plumbing Australia, the Stormwater Industry Association of WA and serves on its Executive Committee and a member of The Institute of Public Works Engineers Australasia (IPWEA). Mike is also an Standards Australia review committee member.
CPD Officer Ralf Boepple MAHSCARalf has over 18 years' experience in the plumbing and construction industry. Ralf started his career with a mechanical and plumbing apprenticeship back in Germany in 1996. After he finished his degree successfully in 1999 he worked for another year for a hydraulic and mechanical contractor specialized in the field of maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems. In 2000 he decided to do a full time course in University to study Building Services Engineering which he finished successfully in 2004 with BE qualifications.
Ralf is a Principal of Wood & Grieve Engineers and mainly working on health care projects around WA. He is also a member and Reviewer of the Licencing Accreditation Review Unit (LARU) and a Member of Engineers Australia.
Seventh Member Paul White MAHSCAPaul was a founding member of the WA Chapter in 1995 and was the inaugural Chapter Secretary. Paul was former 1st Vice President and responsible for all Education and Technical Issues that arise relating to Hydraulic and Fire Services and providing assistance to the joint Presidents. Paul has over 34 years' experience in the Plumbing industry with 26 of those years in the field of Hydraulic services and Fire services design. Paul was recently elevated to a Fellow within the Institute of Plumbing Australia as recognition for 30 years continuous service to the Institute. He is also a past State Chapter and National President of the Institute of Plumbing Australia. Paul is currently a Director with Construction Hydraulic Design Pty Ltd
Eighth Member Darrell Iles MAHSCA. Darrell is a Hydraulic Services Designer with over 20 years’ experience in the plumbing and construction industry, as both a plumber and design engineer. Design experience includes projects in Australia and South East Asia involving project management and full documentation of hydraulic and fire services, supervision of projects for the full installation of works.
Competencies include problem solving and technical analysis. Specialising in the design and documentation of sanitary plumbing and drainage, stormwater drainage, hot and cold water services, fuel gas services, fire hydrants and hose reels, ESD with respect to solar hot water, water conservation, rainwater harvesting and reuse systems.
Passionate in the field of technical development and training of skilled personnel, Darrell has had the pleasure of assisting in the development and teaching of course material in key specialities for the national Hydraulic Diploma currently run by SkillsTech Queensland.
Darrell is currently employed as a Senior Hydraulic Constultant with Alpha Zeta Group where he is reponsible for the design, documentation and administration of hydraulic services for a wide range of building projects.
