Safety in Design is an integral part of a hydraulic services consultant's design process. Considerations include but are not limited to compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation, identification of areas of risk, hazards, impacts and suitable mitigating actions

Fire Hydrant Services to the Building Code of Australia; Part E, AS2419.1, AS2941, AS3500.
Fire Hose Reel Services to the Building Code of Australia; Part E, AS2441, AS1221, AS3500,
Fire Extinguishers to the Building Code of Australia; Part E, AS2444.

Fire Sprinklers

Fire Sprinkler and Drencher Services to the Building Code of Australia; Part E, AS2118.1, AS2118.2, AS2118.3, AS2118.4, AS2941, AS3500.

Hot and Cold Water Systems

Hot Warm Water Systems; to AS3500.3.2. Hot and Warm Water generation and ancillary equipment design. Potable Cold Water Services; to AS3500.1.2. Water Supply sizing including anticipated design flows, general pipe sizing and material selection, Water Storage and Treatment systems, pump and ancillary equipment design. Recycled (Non Potable) Water Services; to AS3500.1.2. Non Potable Water Supply sizing, general pipe sizing and material selection, Recycled Water

Natural Gas LPG

Gas supply sizing including anticipated design flows, general pipe sizing, material and appliance selection in accordance to AS 5601, Alinta Gas & the Office of Energy statutory regulations. rage and Treatment system, pump and ancillary equipment design.

Sanitary Waste Drainage

Roof Rain Water, Site Storm Water; Sub-Soil Drainage designs to the Building Code of Australia, AS3500.4, Australian Rainfall; Runoff together with Local Government Codes. Rain Water Harvesting/ Recycling. On-site disposal systems and On-site Detention/ flow control systems, Pollution control systems for Storm Water and Sub-Soil systems.

Storm Water Waste & Disposal

Rain Water Harvesting/ Recycling. On-site disposal systems and On-site Detention/ flow control systems, Pollution control systems for Storm Water and Sub-Soil systems.

Backflow Prevention

Back flow/ Cross Connection Control; to AS3500.1.2. Non Potable Water Supply sizing, Risk/ Hazard assessment, Device selection and system assessment to facilitate Site, Zone and individual protection systems in compliance with the Standards and statutory authorities.

Investigative Reporting and Expert Witness Advice

The AHCSA WA Chapter offer Investigative Reporting and Expert Witness Advice on Hydraulic Design Services.
