SECONDARY TREATMENT SYSTEMS

Secondary treatment systems are being specified on more WA projects than ever before, and the decisions made during the early design phase can have a significant impact on project performance, compliance, and long-term operating costs.

Join Coerco's Dr Rasikh Habib (Process Engineer) and Baran Unal (Technical Specifications Manager) for a focused 30-minute session exploring how wastewater systems are sized under the Department of Health framework and why Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) technology is becoming the preferred solution for many applications.

The session will cover how MBBR systems deliver advantages over conventional secondary treatment technologies through higher treatment efficiency, a smaller footprint, increased process stability, improved resilience to load variations, and reduced maintenance requirements. We'll also discuss how to correctly integrate treatment systems with pump stations, storage tanks, and effluent disposal solutions, along with the key project information required to achieve an accurate, compliant specification the first time.
